Sport & leisure in Ramsau

Ramsau am Dachstein in summer is a sunny, densley wooded, south-facing hiking and climbing plateau on the southern slopes of the Hohe Dachstein (3,004 m).

On the high plateau, 18 km long and 4 km wide, you'll find an excellent range of walks and hikes at 3 levels. Meadow and forest walks on the resort plateau, mountain pasture and rocky footpaths at 1,700 m and high alpine climbing and peak trails at over 2,700m. There are a total of 200 km marked circular and hut paths to choose from.

Just 25 minutes from the resort and the church, an ideal base for all hikes - up to our own Brandalm, on to the Südwandhütte or up to the Guttenberghaus - a wide range of choice available.

Choose between short walks on our high plateau or demanding hikes, which are described on our walking map and well marked.

Ramsau Beach & High Rope Garden - approx. 10 minutes away from the Brandhof

The "Ramsau Beach" leisure park is a real oasis of adventure at the foot of the Rittisberg.
The spacious parks boasts amongst other things a 6,000 m² bathing lake with toddlers' pool and diving board, a large sunbathing area, a beach volleyball court, a trampoline, a flying swing, sliding soccer plus table tennis, a children's playground, a campsite and a café. The bathing lake has a maximum depth of 3.5 m. 

The high rope adventure park "Forest Park" at the edge of the Rittisberg forest demands courage and strength. Young and old can test their sporting ability on the various courses.
